Job Overview:

The Gardner, Denver, Nash division of Ingersoll Rand is seeking a detail-oriented professional with for our Associate Project Manager role. Brining strong communication and organizational skills for managing internal and external interactions, this professional serves as a primary coordinator to ensure successful engineering, documentation, manufacturing, and shipment of standard blower equipment packages. In helping to drive long-term project success, the incumbent will work as a liaison with all departments and sub-vendors, as appropriate, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within scope.

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinates project requirements and milestones for Engineering, Materials, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Shipping.

  • Monitors the progress of project equipment through design and build process and resolves any issues impacting progress.

  • Works in conjunction with various departments and sub-vendors to assemble a complete document package for submittal to the review and/or approval.

  • Investigates and keeps management informed of problems in shipping projects that are compliant with customer's target receipt date.

  • Monitors project costs and adjustments with attention to the original margins set and advises management when significant deviations occur.

  • Through regular proactive contact with customers, determines critical need items and helps in establishing priorities with Materials and/or Shipping Departments on scheduled ship dates.

  • Handles project related customer requests for assistance or complaints and initiates response and/or takes corrective action as required.

  • Develops project specific schedules as required by Contract.

  • Supervises and coordinates Customer/Inspector witness visits.

  • Supports other Sr. Project Managers with preparation of documentation, tracking of deliverables, and other tasks as assigned.

  • May be required to travel occasionally to Customer and/or Vendor sites.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.




Requirements:


  • Requires 1-3 years of previous experience in a related project management function or other relevant position.

  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle internal and external contacts in a positive and effective manner.

  • Excellent organizational skills are required in the planning and problem resolution for complex long-term projects.

  • MS Office and MS Project proficiency required.

  • SAP experience a plus.




Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

This position is hybrid based from our Bentleyville, PA office with minimal anticipated travel.
