FLSA STATUS: Salaried - Overtime Ineligible- Temporary (March through June) LOCATION: Charter School (Either campus) PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for diagnosis, identification, evaluation, and remediation of speech and language skills as related to educational factors of pupils with oral, language, voice, fluency, and auditory acuity disorders. PRIMARY DUTIES: Legend: E = Essential NE = Non-Essential N/A = Not Applicable 
 
  
 - Determine student eligibility for speech and language services (administer academic testing, etc.). E
 - Create and implement the IEP based on student needs. E
 - Provide services to students per the IEP. E
 - Assess progress of students towards IEP goals. E
 - Facilitate meetings with applicable stakeholders throughout the IEP process. E
 - Prepare, complete, distribute, and/or submit required items by due dates. E
 - Attend meetings and professional development activities, as requested. E
 - Establish and maintain good communication, collaboration, and cooperation with all students, parents, and staff. E
 - Follow all duties of a mandated reporter. E
 - Perform other related duties, as assigned. E
 - Be a team player. E

  Requirements PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 
  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is generally performed in office setting and may include some local travel. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
 
  
 - Master's Degree in Speech and Language or closely related field from an accredited college/university.
 - Valid WI DPI Certification in Speech and Language Pathology (#820).
 - Bilingual (Spanish and English).
 - Neat orderly person with great organizational skills. 
 - Must be a "People Person" with a great disposition and outlook on life, who enjoys working with others, is upbeat and pleasant to work with and is a good listener.
 - Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
 - Must be willing and able to work flexible hours as needed.
 - Excellent communication and documentation skills, written and verbal
