Quality Control Supervisor

The Home & Garden business unit of Spectrum Brands is based in St. Louis, Missouri with distribution, manufacturing and sales offices throughout the US and globe. Lead and Manage Quality Control Team:

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of quality inspectors
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback

Implement and Maintain Quality Control Procedures:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control plans and procedures
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards

Ensure Product Quality:

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods
• Monitor production lines to identify potential quality issues

Continuous Improvement:

• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering) preferred
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques
• Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in the chemical industry, particularly home and garden chemicals, is preferred

• 3-5 years of experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the home and garden industry
• Proven experience leading and managing a team
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools
