Join us as our next Natural Ingredients Supply Planning Manager reporting to a Head of Natural Ingredients Ops Americas. You will align site planning strategy with targets and WOW. Build people development, performance evaluation and personal targets. Lead the Production Planning and Raw Material teams in maintaining a thoughtful and responsive Regional Supply Plan. Align with Global Ingredient Organization targets on safety, service, cost and quality. Align with other Ingredient SC Managers on best practices, ways of working and Network Supply Planning. As co-owner with Production Manager, develop an overall plan for capacity management for the near and long term. Increase Service and inventory costs for the site-based on business strategy.

You will be based in South Hackensack, NJ.

You will be responsible for:




  • Develop (invest in) the planning team into a high-performing work team, including performance evaluation, people development and leadership succession.
  • Put a strategy and plan in place to encourage and facilitate future leaders.
  • Create a plan/schedule that is aligned with Service, Stock strategies(MTO, MTS, MTF) and Production Capacities.
  • Align and Re-align (drumbeat) with Production Manager on agreed capacities by work center.
  • Create and encourage reduced meeting times (occurrences).
  • Monitor stock and take actions to reduce Stock imbalances.
  • Lead the SLOB analysis/coordination and corresponding actions.
  • Lead the SC response to escalations/expedites.
  • Monitor critical supply constraints & escalate supply issues
  • SPOC for the site in Global/Regional SC Topics.
  • End-to-end responsibility to lead service improvements for the site cross-functionally.
  • Build a cooperative relationship between Site Planning and: Production, Demand Planning, Customer Care, Quality, Logistics, GBS and Other Sites (look for Win-Win).
  • Participate in Site Supply Review activities.
  • Contribute to performance review meetings to monitor progress.
  • Co-lead (with Production Management) and encourage programs for more efficiency and reduced cost in production. (i.e. Efficient planning, batch size optimization and cycle time reduction)
  • Lead by example on Givaudan Ingredient procedures, guidelines and best practices in relevant areas, including safety.
  • Development of training programs, manuals and methods of implementation to assure stable and best practice execution of planning
  • Build Project Management as determined.
  • Review and audit material lead times considering agreed business strategy and capacity.
  • Contribute to site and regional targets with the Site Directors and Regional Head of Supply



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or Related Experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 5 years Leadership experience
  • Experience in the flavour, ingredient or fragrance industry
  • 6 sigma / lean Yellow or Green Belt
  • 5 Years related Planning experience
  • Knowledge of Production Planning, Inventory Management, Capacity Analysis and Supply Chain best practices (APICS)
  • Working knowledge: SAP Planning, MS Office, Google Office
