Join the Ribbon team as the Payroll Manager for the United States and Canada. Working on site a minimum of two to three days per week, this is an exciting opportunity to join the company that is modernizing networks across the world.

Key responsibilities:

* Process all payroll changes (new employee, deductions changes, terminations, employees in different states, stock-based compensation income, etc.).

* Process U.S. Weekly and U.S. / Canadian Bi-Weekly Payroll

* Manage all correspondence and interaction with third party payroll processers, {Strada (Formerly Alight Solutions for the U.S. payroll) and Activpayroll for Canadian payroll}

* Ensuring the company is properly handling withholdings and preparing payroll tax filings.

* Closely partner with Human Resources on payroll-related matters.

* Maintaining and ensuring ongoing compliance with accounting policies and procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) internal control documentation.

* Collaborate with external auditors (supplying necessary information, answering questions, etc.) throughout the year (e.g. for year-end financial statement audit and quarterly reviews; workers' compensation audit; 401(k) audit; etc.).

* Participating in the preparation of cash forecasts for payroll and benefits.

* Assisting with other specific projects / initiatives as required.

Requirements

* CPP is preferred.

* BA/BS, preferably in Accounting or Finance.

* 7+ years payroll administration experience, preferably with a public company, working in a multi-state environment.

* Experience with Workday is preferred.

* The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional who has excellent organization and communication skills.

Education:

* Associate's or Bachelors degree or combination of education and experience (7 or more years).
