FOX News Saturday Night with Jimmy Failla is looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and creative Producer to join our team. As a Producer, you will be involved in virtually every aspect of the show's production - pitching segments, finding compelling and funny guests, helping to build the show, doing shoots in the field, editing packages, and helping in the studio during taping. We are looking for someone who loves working in a team environment and has a passion for comedy and current events. Knowledge of social media is a plus.

This role is located fully onsite, and the schedule is Monday - Thursday 10a-6pm, Friday, 11a-7p EST.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in editorial decisions for both week-of and future programs

  • Pitch unique and "off the beaten path" stories that capture interest

  • Develop and propose comedic content that aligns with the energy of a late-night program

  • Track down difficult-to-find people using social media & other tools

  • Deploy in the field when needed to produce engaging and entertaining packages

  • Work with editors to make sure we deliver visually compelling stories

  • Assist with research, script preparation, and any other editorial needs to support the anchor and team

  • Work alongside producers to coordinate needs of the show and host

  • Help manage the set on days of taping and live shows, including host, guest and audience needs

  • Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content performance and audience reach

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism preferred, or equivalent experience

  • 4-5 years of prior television (or similar) experience

  • Understanding that the news never stops, and some work may be required outside regular hours

  • Being a self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team

  • Familiarity with iNews, Dalet, and VIZ preferred

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $75,000.00-90,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $62,500.00-75,000.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
