Pine Haven Care Center proudly serves Pine Island and the surrounding communities. Our 70-bed facility provides both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care for individuals requiring skilled nursing. We are currently hiring Speech Therapists to provide speech therapy services to residents.

The Speech Therapist will conduct screenings and evaluations to develop, implement, and coordinate treatment plans and communicate this information with the residents, family, and team members.

Job Type: FT/ PT/On-Call

Wage: $39.75 - $44.13

Job Duties:

Provides speech therapy services to residents and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with the Therapy Department Procedures.
Conducts screening of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment.
Evaluates residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
Develops appropriate home or programming within the community to maintain and enhance the performance of the residents in their own environment.
Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively discharge the responsibilities of the position and are in the best interests of the organization.

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from and accredited program.

Certificate of Clinical Competency or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year.

Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Current state licensure or license eligible.
