Quality Technician Development (Temporary) / 1st Shift

The Quality Technician's primary function is to assist in supplier and customer returns process, which may include inventory transfers, part measurements, and packing/unpacking materials. This is to be done with little supervision to maintain a high degree of safety, quality, and productivity.

This is a temporary, 1st Shift position.

• Assist inventory transfers using ERP software.
• Check in, tag, and move returns within the system.
• Assist with the REO rework work order process.
• Maintain safety and good housekeeping while reporting any gaps.
• Communicate with supervisor regularly about department issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints to verify conformity.
• Assist with supplier return process.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in inspecting parts
• Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of and ability to navigate ERP software relative to return and warranty functions.

Job Criteria

• Must have good communication skills and maintain a positive and respectful attitude. Contact with management, suppliers and customers are a regular occurrence.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools including at a minimum Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and the ability to prioritize.
