About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support the Neurocrine Audio Visual (AV) environment and ensures the fulfillment of all AV requirements requested by customers. Manages and supports Zoom rooms and facilitates the setup of additional AV equipment for events. This role is highly visible and necessitates exceptional communication skills for daily engagement with customers. May encompass technical support for Wi-Fi, display, and presentation needs. Monitors the help desk ticketing system, resolves assigned issues and escalates more complex issues.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment including video conferencing systems, digital displays, sound systems, and presentation technology across multiple conference rooms

  • Provide real-time technical support for hybrid meetings, presentations, and corporate events

  • Manage and troubleshoot virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex) for local and remote participants

  • Train staff on proper use of AV equipment and create user documentation

  • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure network integration of AV systems

  • Maintain inventory of AV equipment and manage vendor relationships

  • Implement preventive maintenance programs and schedule regular system updates

  • Document and track all AV-related incidents and resolutions

  • Provide support for conference room setup, audio/video conferencing, and other audio/visual and associated IT related tasks as necessary

  • Conduct consistent, frequent inspection of all conference rooms to ensure they are in good working order for daily scheduled meetings

  • Maintain and document inventory of software, supplies, and equipment

  • Respond in timely manner to service issues and requests

  • Test new technology

  • Assist in setting up for special events as needed

  • Other duties as required

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / Associates degree and 2+ years of related experience as an AV Technician or other technical role

  • Zoom room configuration and support

  • Working knowledge and support of cloud applications including Office 365

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment

  • Ability to analyze technical data and troubleshoot routine issues and communicate with others to resolve quickly

  • Knowledge of Computing hardware

  • Knowledge of Operating Systems (PC & Mac)

  • Knowledge of Software and networking technologies

  • Knowledge of microphones, speakers, conference phones, video conferencing codecs/cameras, displays (projectors, TV's, monitors, tablets)

  • Knowledge of audio amplifiers and mixing boards

  • Uses established skills to perform a range of daily operations

  • Applies understanding of company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks

  • Understands how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Proficient oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to take direction

  • Ability to work well individually as well as with a team

The hourly rate we reasonably expect to pay is $22.96-$33.28. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 15% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
