Temporary Senior Associate - PRC | RCSA & Enterprise Internal Controls (Global Banks)

This temporary role supports RSM's Global Banking Risk Consulting Practice, focusing on Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Enterprise Internal Controls (EIC), and Process Risk and Controls (PRC) Consulting. The Senior Associate will work with high-profile global banking clients, emphasizing risk identification, enterprise risk management (ERM), and operational risk within a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

Risk Management & Controls

• Conduct comprehensive risk identification (Risk ID) and assessments aligned with enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks.
• Perform Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) evaluations to identify operational risks and control gaps.
• Support clients in adhering to Heightened Standards by designing and evaluating risk and control matrices.
• Address operational risk concerns by assessing and enhancing frameworks for regulatory compliance.

Audit & Issues Remediation

• Evaluate and test internal controls, ensuring alignment with audit standards and regulatory expectations.
• Assist clients in preparing for audits, managing findings, and creating issue remediation strategies.
• Document business processes and control environments, focusing on areas of heightened regulatory scrutiny.

Technical Leadership

• Analyze data and systems supporting risk management (e.g., Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), operational loss data).
• Leverage expertise in Heightened Standards and Operational Risk frameworks to ensure client readiness for evolving industry requirements.

Required Expertise

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in risk consulting, RCSA, ERM, operational risk, or audit roles; global banking experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proven ability to identify, document, and evaluate risks and controls, as well as knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (or a strong willingness to pursue) are preferred.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for developing client deliverables.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong auditing backgrounds, experience in risk management frameworks, and an interest in helping global banking clients address regulatory challenges.
