The Opportunity at Hand

The role of the E-commerce Marketing Intern is an integral member of the E-commerce Team adding value through assisting with Go-To-Market efforts with a focus on paid media & digital marketing support. This person will immerse themselves fully into the world of New Era E-commerce & get exposure to the interconnectivity of the different ways we interface with our consumer. We're looking for someone who is detail-orientated, communicates clearly, and enjoys a fast-paced environment.

Projects & Tasks

  • Support ongoing efforts within paid media efforts, including Go-To-Market execution across all channels
  • Work closely with our internal creative resources to extract the best possible assets for ad placements within our paid media strategy
  • Coordinate with New Era teams to ensure alignment of marketing goals and strategies across platforms
  • Clearly communicate daily, weekly and monthly media metrics to optimize future approaches across all paid functions
  • Recap paid campaign efforts and report back on results in digestible and actionable manner
  • Conduct competitive research projects on industry leaders within paid ads and stay updated on industry trends to identify new opportunities
  • Learn the fundamentals of all GTM platforms, including Meta, Google, TikTok, Criteo, etc.
  • Keeps all sensitive matters confidential
  • Other duties as assigned

What you will need to make an impact

  • Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems as needed
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally via phone, email and in person
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing circumstances by being flexible and execute accordingly
  • Ability to innovate and enhance existing solutions
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive person who manages change with urgency and persistence

Education and Experience

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program within Marketing or a related field
  • Knowledge of Meta and Google Ad Platforms a plus

This role is 100% in-person and requires on-site attendance five days a week at our Headquarters building located in downtown Buffalo. The hourly rate for this posted position is $17/hr. and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
