GENERAL SUMMARY: A strategic partner with enterprise leaders in providing vision and leadership to innovate and sustain high performing business operations through deploying enabling technology application initiatives across the health system. Directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT business applications and systems in support of business operations across Bryan Health to improve cost effectiveness, collaboration, service quality, and business development, while ensuring high reliability support of business operations, transformation, and the strategic goals of the organization. The enterprise business system scope includes, but is not limited to, human resources, finance, supply chain, payroll, scheduling, time and attendance, costs accounting budgeting, and other back-office business functions and collaboration tools. Drives and leads business process automation and digital transformation in partnership with business leaders.
Leads transformation efforts and oversees organizational change management for changes being implemented to the business technologies and operating model.
Strives to reduce costs and improve services through new technologies, process optimization, automations, creative sourcing, and other innovative methods.
*Keeps current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies and trends. Advises, counsels, and educates executives and management on their competitive or financial impact.
*Identifies opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development.
*Assesses and communicates risks associated with IT investments. Defines and communicates corporate plans, policies, and standards for the organization for acquiring, implementing, and operating IT systems.
*Develops, tracks, and controls the annual operating and capital budgets for applications. Develops business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for application spending and initiatives.
*Coordinates and facilitates consultation with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new application implementations.
*Completes staff performance appraisals ensuring staff competence while emphasizing staff retention strategies through coaching and individual development.
Develops and maintains an appropriate organizational structure that supports the needs of the business.
Establishes departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures. Ensure system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations.
Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.
Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Master's degree in a related field required. Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in business system leadership experience required. Previous ERP experience strongly preferred. Experience in managing Microsoft 365 and Azure strongly preferred. Previous technical support experience in a hospital environment preferred.
