The Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to design and implement scalable, high-performance cloud solutions for TriZetto's healthcare products. This role involves collaborating with engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders to define cloud strategies, optimize workloads, and ensure system reliability in Azure and AWS environments.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Architect and optimize cloud-based solutions for large-scale healthcare applications.
  • Define and implement cloud infrastructure strategies for Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
  • Design scalable microservices architectures with API integrations, event-driven processing, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Enhance cloud security by implementing identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance measures.
  • Develop automation and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in cloud-native development.
  • Optimize data processing and analytics workflows using cloud-native tools and platforms.
  • Collaborate with product, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless cloud migrations and transformations.

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering and cloud architecture.
  • Expertise in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform with hands-on experience in cloud migration and hybrid cloud deployments.
  • Strong background in .NET, Java, Spring, GraphQL, Node.js, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
  • Knowledge of security best practices, networking, and cloud governance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance, scalability, and automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare (Health Plan) industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with AI-driven cloud automation and machine learning models.
  • Knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, and high-volume data processing.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor and lead engineering teams.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applicants will be accepted till 3/24/2025

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $120K-$150K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
