Roles/Responsibilities

* Looking for a Mid Functional QA Tester to assess software quality through manual testing with strong SQL knowledge.

* You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

* Review and analyze system specifications. Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.

* Execute test cases manual or automated and analyze results. Evaluate product code according to specifications.

* Create logs to document testing phases and defects. Report bugs and errors to development teams.

* Help troubleshoot issues.

* Conduct post release post-implementation testing.

* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

* Good knowledge in API using Postman

* Good in SQL writing simple to complex joins

* Experience working in Agile env.

* Good experience on JIRA for writing test cases, test execution and raising bugs.

* Good knowledge of Functional testing concepts

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until March 7, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 53,477- $ 92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
