Description
YMCA Youth/Teen Center Staff MUST be a current Lipscomb University student. MUST be eligible for the Federal Work Study Program. Consistent with the mission and vision of the YMCA of Middle TN, and in cooperation with other YMCA staff, under the direction of the Program Director, the Youth/Teen Center Staff is responsible for interacting with teens and building relationships while supervising the center. Essential Functions:
Qualifications: Passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to the mission and cause of the YMCA An enthusiastic personality with the desire to serve members, volunteers, guests, participants and staff to create a culture of service within our centers Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk on uneven surfaces; sit; handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. The employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level is usually minimal to moderate.
