Job Description General Summary: Vertex is seeking a talented field leader to join our US Diabetes Business Unit to support our aspirations of bringing multiple potentially transformative therapies to people living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). The Executive Director, US Customer Engagement Leader will build and lead the entire field organization for the US T1D Business Unit, which is preparing for potential commercialization of an investigational islet cell therapy. We are seeking a candidate that has a strong track record of developing and successfully executing launch strategies, building and motivating high performing field teams, and supporting novel treatment paradigms. This role will lead two field teams critical to the launch success: (1) Treatment Center Account Management, (2) Healthcare Provider Sales, and will report to the Vice President of the US T1D Business Unit. #LI-BW1 Pay Range: $268,000 - $402,000Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting.
