Executive Director, Corporate Banking Relationship Manager – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Banco Santander, S.A.) - Perform client management, transaction execution and portfolio management in structured lending, markets related transactions, acquisition finance, capital markets activity and transactional banking activity. Serve as primary banker for a group of clients with associated budget and financial goals. Perform strategic business activities and detailed due diligence, including client research, corporate and financial information analysis, industry sector analysis, market analysis, internal reporting and budget initiatives. Oversee preparation of client presentations, including background research and drafting and producing marketing materials and pitch books. Identify and support opportunities to market and cross-sell bank products, particularly to companies in Latin America. Requirements: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics, plus two years of experience in the offered position or as corporate banking associate or portfolio manager for a global bank or financial institution. All required experience must have included structuring, originating and executing deals in the Latin American region for clients in the industrials and financial institutions sector; assisting in deals origination including managing deal closings, funding, and other credit events impacting the borrower; leading execution of strategy for financial institutions and institutional investors, using knowledge of diverse corporate banking products including working capital solutions, syndicated loans, and cash management; managing credit application process, including financial analysis, financial modeling, credit risk monitoring; preparing client materials including presentations, proposals, RFPs, and term sheets; working with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint); and performing market and deal research using Capital IQ, Bloomberg and Refinitiv. Must be willing to travel domestically approximately 10% of the time for client meetings. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. #LI-DNI Salary: $230,000-$300,000/year.
