Senior Digital Application Delivery Director

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Digital Application Delivery with deep expertise in SAP and manufacturing.

This critical role is responsible for directing a team of Delivery Managers across the Primient business (manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, HR, Finance), ensuring the successful delivery of software applications that drive business transformation, value, and operational excellence. The role also will lead the company's IT Project Management Office, building out a governance roadmap for project delivery methodology for all IT projects. Additionally, the Senior Director, Digital Application Delivery will be responsible for identifying key strategic initiatives which help the business deliver our three-year Digital Transformation strategy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Delivery Team: Lead, manage, and develop a team of experienced Delivery Managers, providing leadership, guidance, and support which ensures the efficient design, development, and implementation of applications, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems
  • Own and Build the IT PMO: Build the IT Project Management Office charter, policies, and procedures, ensuring it serves as the hub and center of excellence for effective management, methodology and governance of all IT projects.
  • Applications Strategy Development: Develop and set a strategic approach to Primient's applications approach which aligns and supports the organization's business objectives
  • Manage Business Critical Projects: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple business critical software application projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Senior Stakeholder Communication and Influence: As a member of the extended leadership team, prepare and present progress against KPIs regularly to the senior leadership team, gaining support and alignment of project goals with organizational objectives
  • Foster and Champion a Continuous Improvement Mindset: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the delivery team which builds an application approach centered on best practices, standards, and processes for software application delivery
  • Set Global Controls and Compliance Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in IT applications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, with a strong focus on SAP
  • Minimum 5-7 years of responsibility for IT PMO operations and management. Including the development and subsequent roll-out of an IT PMO methodology and governance structure.
  • Deep understanding of IT applications, including ERP, CRM, SCM, and other business systems
  • Proven experience delivering multiple complex system transformations of ERPs in a manufacturing organization, including at least 1 full end-to-end SAP implementation
  • Established track record of successfully leading and managing delivery teams in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge / experience with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices including but not limited to DevOps and Agile
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Keen analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, high-performance solutions.
  • Proven supplier relationship management experience

Nice to Have:

  • Experience migrating from SAP ECC to S/4
  • Experience with cloud-based applications, such as SaaS or PaaS
  • Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI

Location:

  • Schaumburg, IL

Travel Expectation:

  • As required based upon project workload, up to 25%
Total RewardsThe annual pay range estimated for this position is $209,800.00 - $314,700.00 and is bonus eligible.

Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
