Overview: The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) has an immediate career opening for a Cyber Security Analyst. This opening is located at IDA's Center for Communications Research in Princeton, New Jersey (CCRP). Under moderate supervision, the Cyber Security Analyst II identifies and resolves potential security breaches and vulnerabilities; maintains information security tools necessary to ensure the secure operation of IDA/CCR-P's information system infrastructure; conducts audits, in collaboration with other IT staff, to determine system configurations that ensure compliance with information security policies and guidelines; provides technical expertise and support to projects. 3. Executes Information System Security Evaluation and Hardening
4. Plans Information Security Training and Projects
5. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

While it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $89,000-$143,000.
