Alight is seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, analyzing, and mitigating vendor security risks within our organization. You will work closely with Security peers, Strategic Sourcing, IT, and business groups to assist in the collection, analysis, and dissemination of vendor risk data. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, working across teams, and clearly articulating impact and findings in a manner that each area can understand and action. "This role may support services provided to the federal government or federal government contractor and therefore requires US Citizenship. Proof of citizenship status will be required at time of hire." Vendor Security Risk Assessment Responsibilities: Work with Strategic Sourcing and our business owners to identify key information required for Security due diligence. Determine security tiering of vendors through use of established parameters and weighted criteria. Perform and assess vendor security evaluations by reviewing provided security information via compliance documents or answers to questionnaires. Manage identified risks with Strategic Sourcing and our vendors. Provide regular updates to leadership on state of vendor assessments, issues/risks and resolutions. Additional Responsibilities: Help establish security policies, procedures, and guidelines on a variety of information security controls. Analyze source system data, existing data models, and profiling data to uncover additional security insights not inherently visible. Prepare dashboards and technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Partner with the security architecture team to create, publish, and continuously improve the information security architecture for the enterprise. Qualifications Desired: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 2 plus years of experience in cybersecurity, vendor security management, or a related role. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Salary Pay Range Minimum : 57,700 USD Maximum : 91,600 USD Pay Transparency Statement: Alight considers a variety of factors in determining whether to extend an offer of employment and in setting the appropriate compensation level, including, but not limited to, a candidate's experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography.
