JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Office of Physical Plant is accepting applications for a Utilities Services Manager to join our team. The Utilities Services Manager oversees the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of utility services, plants, and distribution systems. Manager responsibilities include determining efficient and economic ways to manage operations; developing and prioritizing maintenance programs; collaborating on long-term capital renewal projects; developing utility service specifications and assisting with contract procurement; ensuring job specifications, regulatory, and bargaining unit compliance; providing technical expertise and consultation; developing and administering budgets, guidelines, rules, policies, procedures; organizing a workforce; participating in grievance and arbitration proceedings. Responsibilities:
Education and Experience: This position requires a bachelor's degree plus eight years of experience, including three or more years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Background Check:This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
