JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Marcus Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar to work on research related to human factors under the supervision of Dr. Ling Rothrock.

The project will involve the analysis of physician metacognitive performance using both task performance data as well as eye tracking data. The work will also involve exploring the development of a predictive model of human performance using pupillometry, eye gaze data and machine learning. We are seeking candidates with a strong record in human performance assessment and modeling.

A Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field, is required by the appointment start date. This is a term appointment funded for one year from the date of hire.
