We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Senior Practice Assistant to support our multispecialty building onsite Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:30pm.
Dedicated to administrative support, Senior Practice Assistant serves as a leader to our Practice Assistants and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience that exceeds our patients' expectations. Responsibilities, in collaboration with the Practice Coordinator, include daily oversight of the department and its staff, check in, check out, call center, monitoring provider schedules, and serving as the first point of contact for patient appointments. The Senior Practice Assistant will also be trained as an Epic Super User, as it pertains to the practice assistant role. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience office experience 3-5 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong technology and MS Office skills - Advanced Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Knowledge of office operations and standards and understanding of office procedures including filing, copying, scanning, printing and faxing. - Ability to use phone system and manage more non-routine phone calls and solve routine issues as appropriate. - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience and Talking to others to convey information effectively. - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents, to correspond and communicate with others clearly and effectively (including composing/editing e-mail, memos and letters), and to take complete and accurate messages. - Managing one's own time and the time of others. - Well organized and good time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively, follow established protocols, and work within systems. - Ability to proofread and edit written documents.
