Job Description

The person in this position will be responsible for: performing molecular and cellular biology experiments including plasmid isolation, transformation, and cloning; PCR; protein isolation and Western blotting; mammalian cell culture including primary and immortalized cell lines; mammalian cell transfection; mammalian tissue collection, sectioning, and immunostaining; managing mouse colony and performing genotyping for mouse lines as needed.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a life science field and 1+ years of relevant experience.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $15.00- $17.00/hour

Grade: GGS-004
