Join our team as an Assistant General Counsel, where you will play a crucial role by drafting and negotiating complex contracts across various domains. Your expertise will encompass agreements for goods and services, IT and software, consulting, engineering, co-manufacturing, R&D, licensing, and distribution. In this role, you will provide strategic legal advice to business units and management, ensuring that all legal considerations are seamlessly integrated into our business decisions. As an Assistant General Counsel, you will be responsible for drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts. Your strategic legal guidance will support business growth and help mitigate potential risks. You will stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices, using this knowledge to draft and review agreements and provide sound legal advice. Keeping our contract templates, playbooks, and standard operating procedures up-to-date and compliant with company policies will be a key part of your role. Collaboration is essential in this position. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that legal considerations are part of our business decision-making processes. Managing and consulting with outside counsel as needed, you will also develop and conduct legal training programs for business personnel, ensuring they are well-informed about relevant legal matters. In this role, you will handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of work. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, business leaders, and staff is essential.
