Summary of Role

Lantheus is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Enterprise Master Data Product Owner to lead the vision, development, and governance of our Enterprise Master Data Management function. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in pharmaceutical or healthcare technology, a strong track record of cross-functional leadership at the director level or above, and the ability to drive enterprise data strategies that support regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and emerging technology integration (AI, RPA, etc.).

This role will operate with significant autonomy, influence senior leadership, and be responsible for delivering scalable, compliant, and business-aligned master data solutions that integrate seamlessly with order management and radiopharmaceutical operations.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Enterprise Strategy & Vision



  • Define and communicate a multi-year strategic roadmap for Enterprise Master Data Management aligned with Lantheus' corporate and technology goals.
  • Champion a "data-first" approach, ensuring stewardship, protection, and governance of enterprise data across all systems.
  • Anticipate business needs and proactively assess how emerging technologies (AI, RPA, automation) can be leveraged to scale data processes.
  • Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on enterprise data strategy and best practices.


Master Data Governance Council Leadership



  • Establish and own the Master Data Governance Council, responsible for defining, enforcing, and evolving data governance policies, procedures, and standards across the enterprise.
  • Create a governance structure that includes:

    • Expert-Level Working Teams to address domain-specific data standards, definitions, and stewardship (e.g., customer, product, supplier data).
    • High-Level Cross-Functional Working Teams composed of business and technical leadership to prioritize enterprise-wide initiatives, resolve escalations, and align governance decisions with strategic business needs.


  • Ensure the council promotes data consistency, quality, and compliance, and acts as the centralized forum for resolving data ownership and stewardship challenges.
  • Drive adoption of governance frameworks through documentation, training, and executive-level support.


Executive Stakeholder Collaboration



  • Partner with functional leaders in Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory, IT, Commercial, and Finance to ensure enterprise data supports business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Drive enterprise alignment by facilitating regular executive-level updates, product briefings, and governance meetings.
  • Build strategic relationships across business units to champion adoption and ownership of end-to-end data processes.


Product Leadership & Delivery Oversight



  • Lead Agile development teams with a focus on delivering enterprise-grade data solutions that support complex, regulated workflows.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring prioritization of features based on business impact and readiness.
  • Oversee release planning, sprint execution, and go-live activities for major data management initiatives.


Compliance & Quality Assurance



  • Ensure the Master Data Management program complies with FDA, EMA, cGMP, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks applicable to radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Work closely with QA, Regulatory, and Legal to embed compliance controls and ensure audit readiness.
  • Support inspection and validation efforts by providing robust documentation and systems knowledge.


Performance Management & Optimization



  • Establish, track, and report on KPIs to monitor data quality, system uptime, reconciliation accuracy, and downstream impacts to order fulfillment and billing.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement, including automation opportunities, workflow optimization, and user experience enhancements.


Training, Change Management & Support



  • Lead change management and training strategies to drive adoption of enterprise data flows and governance practices.
  • Serve as the escalation point for high-priority issues and reconciliation discrepancies, ensuring swift resolution and communication.


Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in product ownership, enterprise data strategy, or operations within healthcare or pharmaceutical organizations, with at least 5 years in a director-level or senior leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale enterprise initiatives and cross-functional teams across matrixed environments.
  • Deep expertise in order management systems, supply chain processes, data analytics, and regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical space.
  • Demonstrated success managing full product lifecycles in Agile environments.
  • Strong leadership presence, communication skills, and executive-level influence.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), integration platforms, and MDM tools.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with healthcare data management and MDM in a regulated and HIPAA-compliant system.
  • Background in radiopharmaceutical production, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Certification in product or project management (e.g., CSPO, PMP).
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing radiopharmaceutical data and production.


This position is site-based and requires presence on-site three days per week.
