About the Opportunity
DMI is looking for a Web Analytics Specialist to support and mature a federal client's data science and analytics program. If you are interested in a challenge and a great working environment, apply today Duties and Responsibilities:
The position works under the direction of the federal client Data Science and Analytics team. The specific duties include but are not necessarily limited to the following: * Providing expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) technical implementation, as well as on and off-page optimization, such as site audits, keyword research, keyword optimization and keyword mapping * Meeting with client stakeholders as necessary, and the client's marketing team to identify measurable goals and to provide actionable recommendations that are aligned with user intent and that meet client needs, SEO or otherwise * Performing web analytics work, such as setting up customized dashboards, visualizations and reports using Google Analytics * Assisting in creating and executing enterprise-level digital analytics measurement strategies, including product conception and development and helping to define appropriate goals, engagement funnels, and conversions * Establishing a scalable reporting processes and standards for multiple digital products * Prioritizing web analytics requests, tasks, & deliverables according to business needs and resources * Working with front-end developers to create standard patterns for incorporating web measurement and analytics into various digital products to ensure that these are implemented correctly and capture relevant metrics * Performing basic API requests using Python or R |
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 2 + years experience Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: Additional Requirements:
2+ years' experience in the areas described above plus:
Communication skills and ability to work with customers, senior management and other technical teams
- Documentation skills and the ability to recommend best practices and articulate process improvements and required changes
- Ability to operate on their own, which includes defining and implementing solutions with minimal supervision / direction
* Relevant analytics experience in the following areas:
- Data Science, Statistics, or Numerical Analysis
- Financial
- Legal
- Marketing
- Economics
- Testing, including:
- A/B Testing
- Multivariate testing
* Experience working with:
- Google Analytics (required)
- Google Search Console (required)
- SEMrush (required)
- SEO Moz (required)
- Basic Python or R (experience leveraging APIs preferred)
- Google Tag Manager
- Data Studio
Desired Skills and Experience: * Experience running and analyzing heatmaps in tools such as Mouseflow or similar to develop recommendations for data driven web design changes. * Experience in tagging within a tag management system such as Google Tag Manager to track events within multi-page websites * Experience in designing complex and customizable data visualizations for web analysis to be consumed by stakeholders, designers, developers, etc. * Experience providing training on a variety of development and data methodologies and/or tools to include new technologies and solutions that could help the Data Science and Analytics Team and the Bureau at large |
* Prior Government experience in order to expedite the onboarding clearance process. Familiarity with the eQIP system and SF86 forms helpful Min Citizenship Status Required: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Government Clearance.
