Job Title: Accuracy Control Supervisor

Overall Function:

The Accuracy Control Supervisor assists in managing the Accuracy Control Program to ensure all products meet or exceed company and regulatory standards. This position is responsible for supervising Accuracy Control Technicians and reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. The role plays a critical part in upholding product quality through oversight, auditing, and continuous improvement of accuracy control procedures.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

The following statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities:

* Supervise, assign workload to, instruct, and evaluate the performance of Accuracy Control Inspectors.

* Develop and maintain a written Accuracy Control Program in accordance with company standards, governing codes, and regulatory requirements.

* Communicate regulatory updates and requirements to production personnel.

* Conduct audits to identify quality issues, proactively address concerns, and instruct production teams on proper procedures.

* Participate in customer inspections and reviews of manufacturing operations.

* Authorize release of new products for shipment following final inspection and quality verification.

* Analyze data to verify compliance with design specifications throughout the production lifecycle.

* Maintain product quality by planning, monitoring, and evaluating job performance and inspection results.

* Develop and implement in-process inspection standards by reviewing manufacturing methods and determining appropriate testing methods.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and industry standards relevant to the company's products.

* Solid knowledge of welding processes and related inspection techniques.

* Proficient in using and instructing others on the use of measurement tools and devices.

* Ability to lead a team and implement accuracy control programs that support consistent product integrity.

* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including with customers and regulatory agencies.

Experience and Training:

* Associate's degree in Production Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

* Extensive experience in product inspection duties, combined with a minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory role.

* Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered if they meet the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
