Long Term Contract - 12-18 months Hybrid Schedule - 3 days in office, will likely move to 5 days. Job Description: Technical competence: *Able to follow a technical runbook to: oLogin to jump box, right to host, execute scripts/jobs, assess output and next steps oUse admin counsels to bounce platform components without negatively impacting other platform components oUse admin counsels to divert traffic during application deployments oNavigate legacy and cloud platforms in support of technical operations environments. oMake decisions in support of technical operations environments oAssess and act on system alerts that require technical intervention and escalation as needed. *Demonstrate technical aptitude and maturity when things don't go as planned in an operations environment. *Skills: oWorking knowledge of *Linux, Windows, Unix *J2EE Platforms *JBoss, Apache Kafka, Tomcat oClear and concise verbal and written communication *Skills* Application support, Technical support, Troubleshooting, Windows, unix, runbook, scripts, deployments *Top Skills Details* Application support,Technical support,Troubleshooting,Windows,unix,runbook,scripts,deployments *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Financial services experience is a plus but not needed *Experience Level* Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
