Responsibilities

Position Overview:
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will assist the supply chain team with a variety of tasks related to inventory management, procurement, logistics, and data analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of goods, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient operations. This role will also involve learning how to use SAP to manage and track supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist in inventory management and tracking to ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • Support procurement activities by assisting with order processing and supplier communication.
  • Help monitor the logistics process and assist in coordinating shipments and deliveries.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure that production schedules and material requirements are met.
  • Assist in analyzing data and preparing reports on inventory levels, procurement status, and logistics performance.
  • Help maintain and update supply chain documentation and records
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives by providing insights and suggestions for streamlining operations.
  • Assist in resolving supply chain issues and discrepancies as they arise.
  • Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.
  • Support with other duties and projects assigned by management.

Qualifications

Qualifications:



  • Current student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in learning about supply chain processes and SAP software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive with a willingness to learn and take initiative.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous experience or coursework in SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management practices in a manufacturing environment.
