Scope of Work: The primary purpose of this position is to manage the planning, scheduling, and the demand for all aircraft maintenance, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and mandatory requirements. The role ensures operational readiness and regulatory compliance through strategic oversight, in-depth analysis, and cross-functional coordination. Responsibilities:
- Leads the creation, continuous monitoring, and updating of complex aircraft maintenance schedules. Ensures alignment with operational goals, FAA regulations, and OEM standards.
- Conducts advanced analysis of aircraft maintenance needs to determine optimal scheduling windows, ensuring compatibility of concurrent maintenance events. Identifies resource requirements including personnel, materials, and tooling.
- Exercises independent judgment in resolving scheduling and planning conflicts. Leads cross-departmental initiatives to eliminate bottlenecks and mitigate delays, ensuring continuity of maintenance operations.
- Ensures that all task cards and procedural documentation are properly aligned with the defined work scope. Proactively validate the completeness and accuracy of work packages.
- Independently researches and interprets OEM maintenance manuals, Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Maintenance Planning Documents (MPDs) to ensure technical compliance and accuracy.
- Perform research of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) maintenance documentation to ensure compliance, accuracy, and safety.
- Stays up to date and research Maintenance Planning Documents (MPDs) and other OEM/FAA requirements for relevant Task Cards and their inclusion based on work scope
- Collaborates with Inventory and Procurement teams (IPC) to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and allocation of parts required for scheduled maintenance, especially those with critical timing constraints.
- Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by the program/company.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date logs and records, either electronically or in hard copy, ensuring compliance and easy retrieval. Conduct formal audits regularly. Prepares maintenance status reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Has advanced and diversified maintenance and technical experience in support of large aircraft maintenance planning for an Air Carrier, Commercial Operator or Certified Repair Station
- Extensive technical and working knowledge with MPDs, technical procedural and OEM maintenance documentation
- Specialized experience with Boeing 737MPD and /or MSG3 Maintenance Programs
- Technical experience with Maintenance Tracking Software, preferably CAMP's.
- Proficient computer user with strong online research skills, experience using OEM portals, and a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
- A&P License Preferred
- Possesses strong written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with staff at all levels across departments, along with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities and a keen understanding of where to find relevant information.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Must be able to maintain ability to access worksite location to include various military installations and airports to meet customer operational requirements. Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) in a timely manner.
- Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license to operate a company vehicle.
- Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.
- Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Must be able to work alternate and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements of the customer to include weekends and holidays.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility. Traditional office setting however may require working alongside/in an aircraft repair station. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional flight line/hangar environment.
