Vice President, Network Development Operations

The Vice President, Network Development and Operations, is responsible for the performance of the network in Vision Care. Working across VSP Vision, the successful candidate will develop a Network strategy to support healthcare providers. This includes the development of tools and services that support these strategies.
Oversee the management and performance of our network of healthcare providers, ensuring high levels of compliance, quality, and efficiency Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall network operations and drive cost savings Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain strong relationships with providers and ensure optimal network performance Monitor and analyze network data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve network performance, including national & regional market network design strategies Lead and mentor a team of network operations professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve team and individual goals Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in network management, and make recommendations for adoption within our organization Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements related to network operations Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement new products or services that align with network strategy Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience Ten or more years of experience in the Insurance industry with clear progression to senior leadership/ management roles, leading a motivating cross-functional interdisciplinary teams to achieve strategic goals Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization, from the VSP Leadership and executives to staff in a variety of functions and disciplines Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead in a matrixed organization Exceptional verbal and written communication, including an ability to communicate effectively at an executive level Ability to be a thought leader internally and externally, representing VSP in clinical and non-clinical environments Ability to deal with highly confidential information and act as a liaison between the business leader and other constituencies, both internal and external Clean credit history as reported by credit report #LI-VISIONCARE VSP Vision is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to age, gender, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or protected veteran status.
