Position Summary:

This position provides a broad range of analytical and project support services to the Johns Hopkins Health System and its member organizations. The general scope of the position includes, but is not limited to, using analytical tools and methods to report on operational and clinical performance, market trends and the competitive environment, and legislative and regulatory impact. The Project Analyst may also be assigned special projects as needed.

The Project Analyst will:




  • analyze, compile, manipulate, and interpret data from multiple sources (50% of day doing computer work, other 50% on feet, supply chain work)
  • present and format data and technical information for various end users,
  • identify and illustrate relationships among complex activities, and
  • facilitate and organize meetings.



Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required. Master's degree in Business, Health Administration or other relevant field is preferred.

Experience: One year of experience in a professional environment, marketing and/or supply chain experience a big plus.

License: None required. Completion or certification of Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, Lean, or similar training preferred.

Knowledge:




  • Intermediate level of knowledge in spreadsheet, database, word processing, presentation, diagramming, and project management software is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of and/or experience in clinical or health operations is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of finance, operations, logistics, statistical and simulation modeling, administrative theory, process improvement and project management is beneficial.



Skills:




  • Professional level of oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and facilitate meetings

Salary Range: Minimum 23.96/hour - Maximum 39.57/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
