Global Operations at Lam Research has embarked on a business transformation journey to create next-generation business processes and solutions to significantly increase business efficiency and speed. The Principal Planning Process Expert is a unique opportunity to lead the transformation to enable future business growth at an unprecedented level.

What You'll Do
  • Lead business transformation by re-engineering the business processes and implement systems to ensure it meets the Global Operation's strategic objectives and goals.
  • Lead the adoption of industry-standard/best practices to support business scalability andbusiness growth in the coming years.
  • Facilitate the definition of clear problem statements, develop vision and plans, establish success criteria, identify business benefits, and ensure accountability.
  • Drive from capabilities development through full implementation across global manufacturing and supply chain network.
  • Facilitate innovative solutions by leveraging thought leadership and strategic influence.
  • Seamlessly collaborate and work across multiple teams (internal and external) to implement the solutions.
  • Lead changes to ensure the effective adoption of the processes and systems by the end-user community.
  • Evaluate transformation outcomes to ensure goal alignment and implement corrective actions or improvements as needed.
Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a results-oriented and innovative professional with deep expertise in supply chain planning process engineering and large transformational initiatives. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional communication skills, thought leadership, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change. A process-minded approach and experience in systems implementation and influencing stakeholders across a global organization are essential.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operational research, Supply Chain, or related field. MBA or master's preferred
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in operations, strong knowledge of operational processes, data, tools, and improvement initiatives including experience in business process reengineering in leading/fast-growth companies.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Manufacturing
  • Influenced organizational change by driving partnerships and alignment across the organizations
  • Delivered large planning programs with business process reengineering using problem-solving methodology
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across a global organization
  • 2 full life cycle experience in business transformation programs
  • Outstanding communication at all levels across the organizations
  • Experience in systems implementation (e.g., SAP S4, Kinaxis, Informatica, 1Network, MS Data Fabrics & RPA technologies etc.,)

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: Min $140,000 -Max $302,000.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
