POSITION SUMMARY

The Procurement Associate will manage and optimize procurement processes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. This role involves handling invoice resolutions, item additions, material evaluations, tax exemptions, vendor master updates, blanket purchase orders using Ariba, purchase price variance reporting, and price changes on purchase orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Resolution: Address and resolve discrepancies in invoices.
  • Item Adds: Manage the addition of new items to the material inventory.
  • Material Evaluations: Conduct evaluations and run the Material Evaluation Council meetings.
  • Tax Exemptions: Handle tax exemption processes.
  • Vendor Master Updates/Changes: Update and maintain vendor master data.
  • NDA/CDAs: Manage Non-Disclosure Agreements and Confidentiality Agreements.
  • Blanket Purchase Orders: Oversee blanket purchase orders for the year.
  • PPV Reporting: Utilize advanced Excel skills to report Purchase Price Variance to identify and quantify cost savings.
  • Price Changes: Manage and implement price changes.
  • QBRs/Scorecards: Prepare and present Quarterly Business Reviews and scorecards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS degree.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferred experience in procurement/purchasing.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Investigative Skills: Proficiency in investigating issues and finding solutions with limited information.
  • Advanced Excel Proficiency: Expert-level use of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Software: Previous SAP experience preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in managing data and ensuring accuracy.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle complex problems and develop effective solutions.
