Summary
Responsible to provide oversight of clinical nutrition services, including nutrition assessment, nutrition counseling/consultation, performance improvement, and self-management training, monitoring and nutrition intervention to patients. The Nutrition Manager is responsible for the development of the hospital diet office management system and operations of the diet office, including the staff.
Essential Functions
Establishes goals and oversees implementation of clinical nutrition care based upon facility's medical direction and patient population
Hires, leads, direct, coaches, trains, and develops nutrition team members
Fosters team work and establishes effective strategies to implement innovative programs which leads to optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomes
Establishes and executes operating standards, implements quality improvements, and manages the budget
Monitors competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy of clinical staff

Education

Bachelor's Degree Clinical Dietitian required or

Master's Degree Clinical Dietitian preferred

Licenses and Credentials

Dietitian and Nutritionist [State License] preferred

Registered Dietitican Nutritionist [RDN] preferred

Experience

clinical Dietitian experience with multiple patient populations 5-7 years required

leadership experience 2-3 years required
