Sr Integrated Marketing and Communications Specialist

Under limited supervision, leads, plans, recommends and executes initiatives concerning complex and sensitive marketing and communications strategies.

Essential Functions

  • Resolves problems/issues applying broad application of related principles/theories/concepts and technologies, plus working knowledge of other related fields.
  • Uses judgment within defined policies and practices to accomplish objectives.
  • Recommends and develops approaches to solutions.
  • For assigned projects, recommends project budgets and forecasts anticipated budget spending.
  • Provides consultation regarding assigned projects.
  • Coaches others in less senior positions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, marketing, market research, communications, journalism, public relations, design, computer science, management information systems (MIS), finance or a quantitative field or related business discipline.

Minimum Experience

Three (3) years experience in marketing, advertising, institutional or corporate communications or related discipline.

More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master's Degree equals two (2) years experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Good organizational, quantitative and analytical skills.

Proven ability to analyze complex data and broad business strategies and convert into specific, practical, effective marketing and communication strategies and tactics.

Good human relations and communication/presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications: As part of the FedEx Cares team, this position manages the SmartSimple grants management system including facilitating team training, generating reports, and ensuring data accuracy. Responsibilities also include overseeing grant cycles, budget mgmt, proce ssing in-kind shipping invoices, supporting Corporate Contributions Committee reporting, and updating FedExCares.com content for SEO. Essential skills include strategic thinking, analytical skills, problem-solving, strong communication, and budget mgmt.

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.
