Position Description:
As an Administrative Assistant Sr. in the Graduate School you will perform routine and advanced administrative duties requiring considerable skill and in-depth knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, under general direction.
Primary Functions
- Maintain Dean's calendar; coordinate schedules, meetings, appointments, and travel itineraries and related arrangements.
- Coordinate written correspondence in collaboration with the Dean
- Compile and process awards that support learner travel
- Monitor Graduate School general email inbox and reply appropriately or forward for additional feedback, which may contain confidential information
- Process department purchases, expense reports and invoices
- Assist with functions of Graduate Studies Counsel as needed.
- Collaborate on planning and implementation of Graduate School events
- Use complex functions of a variety of computer applications and software packages.
- Proofread and format documents to ensure accuracy.
- Compile data and information from multiple sources to prepare reports.
- Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management.
Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.

Position Requirements:
Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis
Minimum Required Education: High school diploma
Minimum Required Experience: 5 years of experience
