Second Shift Production Lead 2

We are looking for a Second Shift Production Lead 2 at our Beacon, NY facility. The purpose of this position is to delegate and coordinate the efficient execution of all tasks within the assigned department/shift, while working as Machine Operator. This position will lead all assigned personnel in their efforts to achieve efficiencies and quality standards by working cohesively and following company policy and procedure. Starting pay for this position is $61,713.60 annual gross salary.

Individual accountabilities


*Has accountability for assigned shift/department. Monitors the manufacturing process in designated area and ensures quality and production standards are met
*Set, delegate and monitor objectives to team
*Maintain department organization and cleanliness using LEAN principles and delegating in a motivational manner
*Responsible for the efficient scheduling of personnel shifts and break periods
*Responsible for reporting personnel, safety or production issues to Production Manager
*Responsible for executing training plan for personnel within assigned area
*Responsible for interviewing and recommending candidates for hire or promotion
*Must foster a productive, inclusive, respective and professional work environment within assigned area
*Overseas weekend/overtime scheduling and activities
*Reports and records any safety hazards found in AMMSafe
*Reviews production schedule and verifies expectations for the shift
*May Perform multiple job functions during the course of a shift to prevent shutting down for breaks/lunches
*Operates machine according to Standard Operating Procedures

Shared accountabilities


*Liaison with inter-company departments to ensure appropriate schedule attainment, availability of raw materials and quality standards are being met.

Requirements of the job

*Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience
*Documented completion of Leadership Training by accredited provider
*Self motivating and Leadership skills
*Ability to build relationships and work through adverse situations
*Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
