Job Summary |
Will oversee daily operations and/or services, coordinate the activities of assigned staff, & report directly to the Director of the department. |
Minimum Education and Experience |
Bachelor's degree in related field and three plus years relevant professional experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. |
Preferred Education and Experience |
Master's Degree and at least 3 years of experience working in Higher Education |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Oversee the scheduling, budgeting, planning, registration, promotion, and support of events and educational Basic Needs Resource Center programs.
- Leverage student data and feedback to analyze, identify, propose, and execute a programming portfolio and strategy to engage students from across campus.
- Work with campus and community partners to produce collaborative efforts that address student needs, such as donation drives, workshops, training, volunteer services, and resource fairs.
- Maintain accurate records and data related to student participation, program outcomes, and other relevant metrics. Evaluate and assess data, ensuring that student learning outcomes are achieved.
- Provide supervision to the Program Development Specialist.
- Serve as a member of the Behavior Assessment and Intervention Team (BAIT) to provide case management and support for students of concern.
- Serve on departmental, divisional, or university committees or task forces as requested.
- Co-chair the Health and Wellness Planning Committee
- Stay current on best practices, trends, and research on student development, basic needs, behavior assessment, student affairs, and higher education to inform programmatic efforts.
- Some nights and weekends are required.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Remote Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. May be required to use personal computer and other standard office equipment. Must be located within the
DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
