Main Duties & Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs and routine maintenance on industrial equipment ranging from PLC controlled hydraulic presses, CNC lathes and mills to all supporting equipment including robots and conveyors that is used in the production and certification of high-pressure seamless gas and low-pressure acetylene cylinders. This is a 2nd/3rd shift position.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Electrical (480V 3phase), PLC and robotic troubleshooting and repairs.
  2. Repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment such as electric motors, hydraulic pumps, valves, and conveyors.
  3. Performing preventative maintenance and routine service on all machines and equipment.
  4. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  5. Able to work a 2nd Shift Schedule.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 2 years of experience working with PLC/Electrical Controls, Robotics, and Electrical.

2. Technical Certification in PLC/Electrical Controls, Robotics, and Electrical -preferred.

3. Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics

4. SMAW, GMAW and GTAW abilities a plus

5. Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus.

6. Must have own tools

7. High School Diploma

Language Skills

Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documents related to the machine and/or work instructions.
