We seek someone who has a strong understanding of brand design strategies, has developed fantastic design work that delivered brand growth, and has partnered with agencies.

A day in the life...

As the Senior Designer you will have responsibilities in executing design work in support of both innovation (new products) and renovation (design refreshes) across our product portfolio. You will also be responsible for supporting other designers and agency partners by providing creative feedback. Reporting into the Vice President of Marketing, you are a strategic partner in guiding the brand equity and distinctive assets of the portfolio and ensuring all design work delivers on strategy to drive appeal with our shoppers and consumers.

What you will be doing...

• Partners with Marketing team to define brand architecture and distinctive assets
• Key partner in alignment to project strategy (i.e., Creative Briefs) before execution
• Creates package designs that are on-equity and delight consumers based on shopper & consumer research
• Builds presentations and speaks to creative concepts with Marketing, Innovation, and Executive Leadership teams
• Reviews design work from our internal Creative team and external agency partners, providing creative coaching and proofing
• Partners closely with Print Production and Digital Creative teams to ensure executional excellence

Do you have what it takes?

(Basic Qualifications)

• 4+ years experience in FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) packaging design for wholesale channels from concept through execution
• Demonstration of design expertise through robust portfolio with an emphasis in print design
• Mastery of Illustrator and Photoshop
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and InDesign

Do you stand above the rest?

(Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in chocolate, candy, food, or beverage consumer packaged goods categories
• Worked in both blue chip and mid-sized consumer packaged goods companies
• Writing experience including taglines, seasonal sentiments, product descriptions, and product naming
• Working knowledge of print limitations and tolerances
