The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic, AI industry-savvy AI Community Strategy Lead to drive our community engagement and advocacy efforts across Adobe's Gen AI products and tools. This role requires deep AI expertise while also maintaining a strong understanding of the broader creative ecosystem.You should feel at ease making pitches to senior leadership, championing the voice of the community, and establishing relationships with impactful leaders in the industry.

This role is a unique opportunity to influence the future of creativity by ensuring that community insights shape Adobe's AI products, policies, and strategy - while also communicating Adobe's AI messaging and positioning back to the community.

What You'll Do

  • Lead AI Community Strategy: Apply community insights to drive AI community strategies aligning Adobe priorities with creative professionals' needs. Balance long-term vision with tactical impact, ensuring community motions support product launches and ongoing strategy

  • Build Key Leader Programs: Lead the Gen AI VIP program, helping scale and drive impact with our AI community leaders to grow both advocacy and insights.

  • Community Communications: Craft and implement clear communication between Adobe and the community, ensuring people understand not just what Adobe is doing but why - fostering trust, advocacy, and stronger sentiment.

  • Internal Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for the AI community, deeply understanding the community's perspective and representing that internally, shaping policies, products, communications, and strategy.

  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with AI community leaders, educators, and event organizers, positioning Adobe as a trusted partner in the creative space.

  • Measure & Optimize Impact: Establish clear metrics to track the impact of community programs, using data to continuously refine and improve engagement strategies.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Deep Passion for AI & Creativity: A genuine love for creativity, with a nuanced understanding of how AI is redefining this space - including platforms, events, trends, and creative professionals' evolving needs. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools is a plus, but true connection to and unbridled curiosity for the AI+creativity world is key.

  • Strategic & Analytical Skills: 7-10 years in strategy, consulting, product marketing, product management, brand strategy, partnerships, operations, or innovation. A track record of turning complex insights into action. Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision-making is a big plus.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, design, communications, or a related field required. MBA or equivalent experience highly desirable.

  • Critical Thinking: Exceptional ability to assess the broader landscape, find opportunities, and architect scalable strategies that drive relevant business impact.

  • Curiosity & Persistence: A problem solver who digs deep to understand root causes - especially with product and customer difficulties. Proactively seeks insights, asks thoughtful questions, and persistently advocates for the best solutions.

  • Influence & Executive Presence: A persuasive communicator with the confidence to advocate for community needs in high-stakes conversations with senior leadership. Skilled at navigating complex discussions and building alignment across teams.

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Skilled at driving consensus, balancing opposing priorities, and fostering collaboration across marketing, product, and external partners.

  • Passionate about Achieving Results: Sets clear goals, assesses program efficiency, and continuously improves strategies. Comfortable synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions and measure success.

  • Agility & Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity, balancing critical thinking with hands-on execution when necessary.

  • Presence & Flexibility: Willing to travel up to 25% to attend key events, nurture relationships, and maintain a visible presence within the design community, as business priorities dictate.

Location: SF Bay Area highly preferred, open to other major US cities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $131,600 -- $250,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
