We are hiring! The Enterprise Services Business Risk Office provides risk management support to several lines of business including: Brand, Enterprise Supplier Management, Enterprise Products & Experience (EPX), Software, External Affairs, Enterprise Data, Global Workplace Solutions, Emerging Payments, Ventures, and Technology. As the risk team for Enterprise Services, we are on the cutting edge of risk management and provide support for new and emerging technologies as well as critical business strategies. As a Manager, Chief of Staff to the Senior Leadership Team in Enterprise Services Risk (ES Risk), you will help advance key priorities, coordinate day-to-day operations, and provide thoughtful support across a range of efforts. In this role, you'll work closely with leadership to help organize and drive strategic initiatives, while also contributing to the overall health and effectiveness of the team. You'll be responsible for supporting key audits in the Tech & Product areas, associate experiences, capacity planning, and helping keep work moving smoothly.   • Comfortable building and maintaining positive relationships, and being diplomatic, yet influential with colleagues across all levels, including VP and SVP leaders, and across a variety of partner teams

  • Effective and autonomous project management from strategic ideation through tactical execution and follow up

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification

  • At least 5 years of experience in project, risk program, or process management

  • At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal and external business clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal stakeholders

  • 6+ years of Financial Services industry experience, preferably working within technology

  • 6+ years of experience as a project or process manager

  • Ability to communicate effectively with people across multiple levels

  • Ability to set direction, delegate tasks, manage multiple stakeholder expectations, and coordinate a cross-functional team

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills, customer focus, and ability to collaborate and influence across teams to deliver

  • Project Management (PMP) or Program Management (PgMP) certification

  • Business Process Management Certification, Six Sigma Lean, Green Belt or Black Belt Certification, Agile Coach Certification, or Compliance Certification (CRCM)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager, Chief of Staff New York, NY: $172,800 - $197,200 for Manager, Chief of Staff Plano, TX: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Chief of Staff Richmond, VA: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Chief of Staff

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
