The Role:

Responsible for administering and enforcing Warehouse policies and procedures which ensure the proper ordering, handling, and storage of all supplies on property so as to minimize potential loss to the company

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the activities of all receiving team members
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of dry goods, paper products, chemical supplies and Food & Beverage specifications
• Ensure adequate staffing levels in the Warehouse division of the Purchasing department by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, assisting with career development, promoting, disciplining and terminating team members, as needed
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all supplies delivered to the receiving dock
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all Stock Requisition Fulfillments
• Ensure accuracy of input into purchasing software
• Create, implement, and monitor a computerized itemization of all goods and supplies ordered, received and stored on property
• Establish adequate levels of all inventory items & ensure set levels are maintained
• Co-operate with Accounts Payable team members in the verification of orders received
• Compile statistical data for reporting purposes
• Maintain all files in the receiving division of the Warehouse department
• Conduct the necessary research to effectively resolve receiving disputes
• Organize and preside over regularly scheduled departmental meetings with all team members under his/her supervision
• Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental inventories, records and reports

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in Finance and Warehouse related environments recommended
• Must possess effective communication, organizational and analytical skills; must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer literate; some college accounting courses preferred; prior warehouse and receiving experience required
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret basic instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Superior knowledge of Purchase Order/Inventory Control processes and systems software
• Constantly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Constantly requires specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and to adjust focus
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. or more

Target Salary Range: (Post $60,000)
