Description

At BlueHalo, we firmly believe that all internships are not created equal. Our Summer Internship Program is meticulously designed to provide students with an immersive and dynamic experience within our industry, offering a taste of what it's like to be part of our professional team. Unlike many other internship programs, we strive to simulate a full-time job, enabling our interns to work hands-on with cutting-edge technology, contribute to meaningful projects, build strong relationships with coworkers, and develop strategic problem-solving skills. Our program is highly selective, hosting only a handful of interns each year, ensuring personalized attention and ample opportunities to work closely with BlueHalo team members. BlueHalo is seeking a Firmware Engineering Intern to support multiple programs within the Space Technologies division. The Space Technologies division has been developing the techniques, systems, subsystems, and design elements required to implement high reliability opto-mechanical and electrical space systems and components. The Firmware Engineering Intern is a key member of an integrated team operating in a very dynamic environment. The candidate will assist in developing, testing, and debugging embedded firmware for electronic devices. They will also work with hardware engineers to integrate and test firmware with custom hardware. Additionally, they will use lab tools such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and dynamic signal analyzers. Create and maintain documentation including design and test plans.
