Staffmark is hiring a Legal Secretary to support a fast-paced legal team in Rayville, LA. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in personal injury law, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Pay | $15-$20/hr

Schedule | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

As a Legal Secretary, you'll be responsible for preparing, proofreading, and filing legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, settlement agreements, and correspondence. You'll manage medical records requests, track incoming documentation, and maintain organized case files both digitally and physically. This role also involves scheduling depositions, hearings, and client meetings, answering and directing phone calls, and handling communications with clients, courts, and insurance companies. You'll assist with trial and mediation preparation, monitor important legal deadlines, and support general administrative functions such as billing, mail processing, and supply management.

What You Bring:



  • 2+ years of experience as a legal secretary (personal injury preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of legal terms and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (Needles, Clio, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • High integrity when handling confidential information
  • High school diploma required; certification a plus
