Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Austin, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Designs and engineers the solution down to detail to satisfy the customer's specified requirements.
  • Defines the products, components, and systems to be used and their concrete characteristics.
  • Configures the components and systems of the solution according to the requirements.
  • Develop detailed solutions for the integration to ensure the interaction of the individual elements as a functioning unit.
  • Is responsible for realizing the solution with the needed functionality and preparing the design documentation.
  • Minister the executing units (manufacturing, procurement, logistics).
  • Is expected to adopt existing concepts and methodologies to create and open up new ways of approaching and fulfilling specific internal and external client requests or project requirements.
  • Positions that need senior professional expertise with extensive functional, commercial, and technical knowledge in an area of competence.
  • They integrate analysis, development, testing, and implementation.
  • They interpret and functionally influence policy and guidelines in their area of business/technology and develop processes and systems to deliver functional objectives.
  • They typically plan their work according to agreed-upon targets within a quarterly up to an annual cycle by integrating resources in a project-driven environment.
  • They provide functional advice and guidance to colleagues and customers.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week. (1st shift).

Length: Contract (12 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in design changes and maintenance releases in medical device products.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in Hands-on mechanical design, including building and prototype testing.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in creating drawings and assemblies within SolidWorks or other drafting applications.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in Supporting the maintenance and changes to design history files.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in root cause analysis in medical device products.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
  • Masters Domain.
  • Solid professional judgment and problem-solving competence.
  • Improves existing processes and approaches.
  • Minimum of 4 years Experience working with the following:
    1. Outside vendors.
    2. Data analysis, statistical analysis, and technical reporting.
    3. Defining and developing test procedures for verification and validation.
    4. Handling field complaints.
    5. Assessing the production impact of design changes and collaborating with purchasing and production teams.
