IS Support Service Specialist - Senior

Baptist Health is looking for an IS Support Service Specialist - Senior to join our team in Lexington, KY

Provides highly responsive second and third-tier support to end users within the hospital, physicianpractices, and other related healthcare facilities within the market. Operates as an escalation pointand resource for other IT team members. Support scope includes but is not limited to computerhardware and related equipment, general software and application installation and support, and someclinical application and hardware support. Analyzes user needs, documents solution requirements,and revises or develops processes or procedures as necessary. Coordinates with other BaptistHealth IT infrastructure and application teams to deploy and support healthcare applications to ensure system availability and ultimately support patient care. Under limited direction, formulate/define project scope and objectives based on applicationspecifications and user defined needs. May lead or participate in the implementation of both localand system-wide IT project initiatives of all scopes and sizes with hospital implications. May haveduties which include instructing, directing, and checking the work of other support analyst personneland project team members.

Support oversight includes users and equipment in the following locations:

• Main hospital campus

• Associated clinical and support facilities in the surrounding market, often off of the main

• hospital campus, such as diagnostic centers, surgery centers, labs, etc.

• Baptist Health Medical Group physician practices and remote clinic locations

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required

Bachelor's degree with four years related experience, or two years direct experience in lieu of degree
