Supply Chain Analyst

Summary:

This Supply Chan Analyst is a key member of the Supply Chain Department, which supports our customers through collaboration, performance, and driving value across the organization. The Analyst collaborates to elevate Supply Chain through their range of responsibilities as follows.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supports stakeholders with financial analysis, project management, reporting, and measuring of data/statistics via multiple data sources including but not limited to the ERP, EMR, GPO etc.

  2. Develops support tools using advanced Excel and/or database skills for implementation support and tracking and reporting of performance metrics including but not limited to supply expense improvement initiatives and inventory optimization.
  3. Interprets data concerning financial trends and economic and business forecasts as they relate to the performance metrics and provide recommendations to leadership.
  4. Consults and advises stakeholders regarding contract and financial impacts.
  5. Assists in development of internal controls and validation of supply chain rebates.
  6. Assists in development, analysis and evaluation of new technology, requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs), quotes, bids and contracting strategies.
  7. Support Executive leadership on projects as assigned.
  8. Other duties as required.

Other information:

Technical Expertise

  1. Proficiency in systems and data analytics required.
  2. Advanced Excel skills including complex data manipulation and analysis required.
  3. Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools preferred.
  4. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization required.
  5. Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, be service-oriented, organized, teachable, and open to change required.
  6. Healthcare experience or familiarity with healthcare operations preferred.
  7. Strong analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills required.

Education and Experience

1. Education:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant job-specific experience OR an Associate's/Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

2. Years of Relevant Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role; internship experience may be considered.
  • Preferred: 1 year of healthcare-specific experience.
